The GRcade Twitchcast Episode 18 – One Foot in the GRave!

The Doom Spoon and Pedz are joined by Victor for hosting duties.

This week the guys talk about the Pokemon 24hr mystery stream. Was it worth a 24-hour stream for what appears to be a reveal of a Galar variant of a generation one Pokemon?

The discussion then turns to the Fallout Legacy Collection. What do the guys think? Does this sound good? Is it a coincidence that Obsidian’s name game is being released on the 25th of October and this so happens to come out the same day?

Ubisoft and the microtransactions in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is the next topic of discussion. There are some mixed views on this.

Unfortunately, Victor had to leave due to the time and then remembering he works on a Monday and will be shattered. But Doom and Pedz continue to talk (do they ever stop?) and the conversation moves over to the GRcade Video Game Eliminator. The top spot is somewhat predictable, but what does Doom think overall?

Playstation Now is also a topic tonight. The guys think Sony may have now realised that the service may be viable after looking at Xbox Gamepass’ success.

Lastly, there’s a little chat about Alphadream. They were the creators of the Mario and Luigi series but unfortunately filed for bankruptcy in the week.

GRcade Twitchcast Episode 16 – The Root of All Evil!

The hosts of this weeks GRcade Twitchcast are Pedz and The Doom Spoon.

This week the conversation starts with the chat about The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. A game that Pedz has played back on the Gameboy and Doom is playing for the first time. The chat is more about the controversy surrounding the framerate issues, than the gameplay.

Moving on to the second topic is Untitled Goose Game, where Pedz talks briefly about his short play session on it. While Doom hasn’t played it, he’s got the game and is rather intrigued by it.

Then lastly we have The Guardian’s Top 50Ggames of the 21st Century to talk about. Unfortunately, the chat is rather quick as Doom had personal commitments and it resulted in Pedz just telling games to fuck off so they could move on quickly to another game.

E3 2019 Rundown!

GRcadeTwitchcast – E3 Discussion Videos!

The Electronic Entertainment Expo which most just call E3 is the time of year us game lovers call our Christmas. It’s a little daft, but the sentiment is pretty simple, we watch people sell us stuff… Wait, that’s not what Christmas is about?

I’m not writing a massive article about E3 here, but instead a few of the people from GRcade took to Twitch and decided to talk about E3, some of the conferences were at convenient enough times for people to have live reactions to them, while others weren’t and will be discussed in a general E3 round up in the end.

First video up is Microsoft. Doom and Pedz were available for this, ad7 did try and join, but, was unable to do having Mic troubles. The Watching Artist (Matt) joined approximately half way through as Doom had to leave, but he did return to talk a tiny bit about the conference overall.

Audio only.

Ubisoft. Ah, good old Ubi, you can’t help but admire their crazy silliness. Do they stay as silly? Let’s have a look.

Audio only

Inside Xbox. Another Xbox Conference, it’s not a ’60 games announcement’ conference, but it does show a few new games and talks a little about the future of the Xbox One. I think Doom put’s it well at the end of the live viewing.

Audio only

Lastly, we have the Nintendo E3 Direct. We have Jenuall, The Watching Artist (Matt) and Pedz taking part in this one. They didn’t watch the direct during its live broadcast but they did watch it for the first time, together.

Audio only

We haven’t been able to get together since this, so a round-up isn’t likely going to happen, but we all had fun doing this and we hope we can get more done for future events. Thank you all for watching and listening to us all prattle on!
